Banner smart cameras now have language support for global use
Banner has upgraded its popular smart cameras.
Advanced Motion & Controls Ltd. began supplying Banner Engineering products in Eastern Canada last year, and these industrial solutions are now available in Ontario too. The Banner lineup includes the VE series of smart cameras, which comprises innovative devices equipped for high performance in a broad range of inspection applications.
Recently, expanded capabilities have been added to the VE series: Banner has imbued additional language support for international users with free Vision Manager Software.
Ideal for complex applications
With Vision Manager, these smart cameras are easier to program and install in more native languages. The software is now available in English, Spanish, simplified or traditional Chinese, Korean, German, Italian, French, and Turkish. Vision Manager is an intuitive software that simplifies vision and bar-code-reading applications, and it further allows users to configure and manage the VE series easily in their own languages. Even beginners can easily navigate this operating environment and get their cameras running in minutes.
Banner recommends the VE series for various other applications, like vision and identification tasks, part presence and absence, object orientation and position, flaw detection, assembly measurements, and part tracking. These smart cameras come in multiple resolutions and capabilities for complex applications: resolutions go up to five megapixels, which makes the cameras flexible solutions for all kinds of uses. They read codes reliably in large areas and perform inspections from long distances or on minute components; both can be managed with one high-performing camera.
Another key benefit of these cameras is robust metal housing that stands up to challenging industrial environments. This is compact, durable housing that comes standard with a built-in display that lets users to make alterations on the fly or troubleshoot systems quickly. The VE series can be paired with sealed lens covers or LED ring lights to comply with the IP67 rating for wet or dirty environments, and it is compatible with C-mount lenses to fit many different applications.
Twelve models of the VE series of cameras are available from Advanced Motion & Controls Ltd. Each offers six optically isolated inputs and outputs.
