Compatible with other series

 

By using D-sub output blocks, the user can easily attach a maximum of nine remote D-sub manifolds to one EX600 communication module. The serial interface is compatible with the SV1000, SV2000, and SV3000 series, as well as VCQ1000, VCQ2000, VCQ4000, S0700, and the new SY series of valves. Among the available Fieldbus protocols are Ethernet/IP and PROFINET.

 

Other notable features and specifications of these wireless SI units:

 

• Output method: PNP, NPN.
• Number of I/O points: 1,280 inputs, 1,280 outputs.
• Enclosure: IP40-rated (manifold assembly) for protection against solid objects; IP67-rated (manifold assembly) for abusive environments that may also include splashed coolant, lubricants, or grime.
• Operating temperature range: Minus ten to 50 degrees Celsius.
• Safety compliance: Meeting CE and RoHS standards.
• Weight: 280 or 300 grams.

 

The EX600-W series also offers decentralized and wireless serial transmission for input and output, as well as 127 slaves per master.

Customers can choose from three different models on the Advanced Motion & Controls Ltd. website – EN (wireless base unit for Ethernet/IP), PN (wireless base unit for PROFINET), and SV (wireless remote unit).
